Shame no Shaq, but it's what I expected, glad Robertson & TAA are back.
Surprised Lovren isn't on the bench?

Surprised Lovren isn't on the bench? Shaq on the bench means we want to defend more than attack

It’s a shame the officials don’t understand the rules of the game they are officiating , perfectly good goal disallowed, Van Dijk is worth triple what we paid for him, Assnal played really well, and we are still unbeaten having played city, spuds, chavs and now this lot. Top of the league and all in all still a fantastic start.

Many said we will win easily but I did not see it, we always underperform when a team presses us hard like Arsenal who were at home. Milner starting is the right call regardless of his goal as he gives us balance. I thought Fabinho had a poor game, he was never close to the cbs to receive balls and give them an outlet. The game was never controlled by us which is a shame, we never kept the ball like we should have and as a result conceded a late goal. Arsenal with a much better performance. Fair result.
Back to Back World Champions baby!

fair result but not good enough for lfc to sustain challenge imo. I expect likes of man utd to soon catch lfc and see lfc slipping to 3rd 4th 5th..because the way the team plays is definietly not championship winning stuff.

Arsenal were impressive, they have enough about them to be in the top 4, which is an achievement considering their previous recent seasons and the manager has just arrived, so a point in their stadium is a decent result. Klopp showed he was happy with a point by bringing on Matip near the end, rather than going for the win.
Fabinho looked off the pace and was taking too long on the ball, our transition from defence too attack was too ponderous and allowed Arsenal to get back into formation, which they were well drilled at. Without Keita and Henderson, I guess Klopp had to play Fabinho.
VvD was immense, some great defending and was unlucky not too score 2 goals.
We have not played well this season, but we are solid and resilient, last year we would have collapsed and gone onto lose that game, we are still top of the PL until City play tomorrow, we may look back at this game as an important point.

..the concern is other teams are beginning to close in on the top 3 so man city apart it will imo change in a few games time.
