I for one wouldn't actually mind Roy Hodgson coming into the club at the moment. He is a well travelled man with a wealth of experiance, he isnt the most attractive option by no means but what i believe is what we need with the club the way it is, is stability, a manager who will get the best out of our squad, and a manager who will make the most out of what little budget we have for transfers. I believe without a takeover this club needs to build for a solid premiership season to regain our top 4 status and aquire proven premiership players who will fight for the club at those daunting away games we all dread. Roy knows the prem well and even if he brought in konchesky and sidwell i would much prefer them lining up for us away to wigan on a cold, rainy monday night rather than insua and lucas ( althou am not a critic of lucas).

By the looks of it there is no buy out happening any time soon. The next manager will be there to steady the ship, keep us semi- competative and grab a few bargains along the way. Glorified caretaker on a short term contract. The way things are at the moment, I can see it being a reletive unknown, as most proven managers wouldn't touch this particular poisoned chalice with the proverbial bargepole.

If and when we are sold (big 'if' at the moment) the new owners will be able to entice a top manager with promises of a juicy transfer budget and we can get back to being LFC again. The timescale is looking increasingly long term, but it will happen.

Dreadful choice. Have a look at how much he's spent at Fulham and the poor performance of his bigger signings. His Fulham record is just as bad as his Blackburn record.

Its time to deal in lead.
We are the legions of the damned,
The army of the already dead...."
