he has done a great work both at monaco and marseille.

i think kenny should stand in on a temperory contract till we get the cancer out of our club an then we can start from a fresh new owners new players and a new manager oh i can dream.

Seems a bit random to me if this what Purslow has done. Blimey Rafa went 4 weeks ago and we're only just approaching Deschamps?! Something wierd is going on, this is no way to run a club if true...

It's just one more farce at LFC. If you want Hodgson, appoint him. If not let him get on with his life.

It would seem to me that we are looking for a manager who has had recent success, who is on a high, and would, in the eyes of the board and the 'big wigs' bring in an instant turn around;

- Linked with Hodgson who has had an excellent season with Fulham.
- Now it comes out that we are linked with Deschamps, who has helped Marseille win there first title in 18 years.

but with a club the size of Liverpool i guess there is going to be so much media hype that a million names will be banded around before anything is resolved.

we just have to sit tight and support our club and who ever comes in to manage us. though whilst we have these owners, i cant see anything promising in the future.


all that said Deschamps isnt a bad manager.

i just wish the club would appoint Hodgson and stop this farting around.i believe he is a good coach a good bloke and would be a very good manager for our club.it would be good to have an englishman who understands what our club means to us.he's a passionate manager in the bobby robson mold.
i dont want another foreign manager,i want someone we can all relate to.if capelo quits as the england coach the fa will go for hodson before they go for anyone else,theres a reason for that.

Deschamps a legend. Love to see him as manager. Anybody but Hodgson. I fear Monday when they announce Hodgson. Sad day.

How about an approach for Owen Coyle. He's by far the best british up-and-coming manager.
