The team and the club are in such a positive position coming into a new season, and the one reason is Jurgen Klopp. When you consider we had the likes of two motor-mouth numpties in charge before, Brendan Rodgers and Roy Hodgson, its amazing.
It is simply a miracle.
Some things I want from Jurgen;
passing into space - not just to the man,
passing triangles i.e. two passing options,
one and two touch football,
more rapid attacking wide play to the corner flags
and more passing from these positions instead of chancy crossing.
And some trophies please.

I would add dalgish to the rogers Hodgson era it shows what a difference a good manager makes prior to Klopp the best manager was Rafa houllier was pretty good too.

The good Klopp'o is growing on me more and more. I love how he's got LFC off their moneyball perch, and the signings he singly mindedly goes after and gets. However as some others have said and I've said myself I'll judge him on what he wins for us, as that's the final arbiter for me. I'd be remiss if I didn't also say I love the way Klopp has the team playing now. It's much improved from the early battering ram approach he was forced to employ, and that's down to the quality he's brought in, so all credit to him and his players.

I do like Klopp and the way he has his teams play but he does have faults. I think he should bring in the odd experienced old head on the pitch, something we are severely lacking in. Milner was a Rodgers signing and shows week in week out just what a vital cog he is to this team. Bringing in players with proven success and experience like Milner is a must for any future transfer windows.
We have been undone in recent Finals because of inexperience.
It's becoming a hard habit to break not just for Klopp but for Liverpool FC to finally succeed in bringing in silverware.

Just saw thios on another news site regarding our transfer dealings back in the summer 2013-2014:
LIVERPOOL'S 2013/14 TRANSFER BUSINESS
All that considered, it's only natural that fans will draw comparisons to that 2013-14 campaign when Liverpool came so close to breaking their Premier League duck.
And given that the new season is only one game deep, the obvious cause for contrast are the two teams' transfer windows and the difference is startling.
Liverpool made eight signings in the summer of 2013 and it begs the question: if Rodgers could finish second after these signings, could Klopp go one better this year?
With that said, check out the eight signings Rodgers made that summer:
Iago Aspas
World-class corner taker. Signed for €7 million, Aspas lasted just one season on Merseyside, accumulating 15 appearances and scoring a singular goal against Oldham Athletic. He has since returned to Spain and impressed for Celta Vigo.
Luis Alberto
Another completely misguided transfer from Spain, Alberto desperately struggled for game-time at Liverpool and finished with just 12 outings to his name. The 25-year-old was eventually moved on to Lazio after two loan spells away with Malaga and Deportivo.
Simon Mignolet
That's right Liverpool fans, this was the highlight of 2013's summer business. Mignolet enjoyed a decent debut season at Anfield, but it soon emerged that he wasn't the long-term solution the club needed and he looks set to leave this summer.
Tiago Ilori
The Portuguese only managed three senior appearances for Liverpool and was another to become tangled in the club's loan system. Reading eventually came in for his signature in 2016 and he has since appeared 20 times at the Madejski Stadium.
Kolo Toure
A shrewd purchase from Liverpool in fairness, but nothing to set the world alight. Toure would go onto conclude his Premier League career with 71 appearances in red, before completing his career with an unbeaten season at Celtic.
Mamadou Sakho
Very highly rated by Liverpool fans at his prime and with good reason, Sakho was a decent servant for the Reds but his time on Merseyside unravelled after a falling out with Klopp. He now plies his trade at Crystal Palace and is entering his third campaign with the club.
Victor Moses
Moses has enjoyed an impressive few seasons with Chelsea recently, yet his career looked on the ropes after an uneventful loan spell with Liverpool. Loan moves to Stoke and West Ham would follow after just two goals in 22 appearances.
Aly Cissokho
Another loan addition from Rodgers and not one that lives long in the memory of Liverpool fans. His performances at Anfield were enough to earn him a move to Aston Villa, though, for whom he played until a 2017 switch to Yeni Malatyaspor.
All in all, it's clear to see Rodgers didn't have the greatest of transfer windows.
The Northern Irishman gained something of a reputation for his questionable dealings at Anfield and Klopp has already surpassed him with some inspired signings.
The current Liverpool team faces a much tougher Man City challenge than their 2013/14 incarnation, but with a far better transfer window this time around, it could be their year.

Dalglish did relatively well in his short period. At an did we last go to two finals winning one? The way we started to play was much better than Hogdson even beating United a few times. The major mistake was spending so much on Caroll who hardly played due to injuries

As I recall we beat Birmingham on penalties in the Coca Cola cup and we were in free fall in the league he was a great player but as a manager he has no idea. He is in the right place as club ambassador

He is in the right place as club ambassador No one is asking to bring Kenny back. The game has changed since his day. He’s still one of our most successful managers ever, and the last to win us a trophy. To say he hasn’t a clue is silly.
