Just read that. So our weakest link just got weaker. Didn't the club know this? Is Gomez ready? Matip will probably get injured every now and then. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/fo...elines-15017639

The fact that Lovren kept it from the club after knowing for more than 3 weeks that he had an injury means he was deliberately withholding the information so Liverpool didnt buy another CB during the transfer window. He could very well have cost us a lot of points by doing that. He needs to be bombed out Sakho style. Completely disrespectful, selfish and unprofessional.

They still had 4 days to act since he returned if ever that had no idea

Is there any other reason you could think of for him to withhold injury information? Because that is what he has done.

He thinks and he thought? Is that the best you can come up with?
If a player gets injured it's not his call to judge it. He is supposed to report it to the club's medical department sharpish, so they can make an assessment and maybe get a specialist in to get the injury healed quicker. The club owns the player so it's their call to make!
A player can never be ok by keeping this kind of information to himself! That's a big no no!

I would imagine not declaring an injury is a serious disciplinary offence however it shows he wants to play for the club. I guess it depends how serious it is and the circumstances but VVD and lovern was my preferred line up. This is a disappointment for sure

If a player is more important to the team than some he will always get shown more leniency when it comes to injuries as in more time...his decision or late fitness tests, it's always gone on. Your telling me that players like Bryan Robson and Alan Hansen who suffered more than most with injuries were not given there own minds to let the medics know if they felt fit enough to play...ofcorse they did... Their own minds? No way, at least not now when medics have all the required data. A player will always want to play. You are still living in stone age I see.

No, I am telling you it's not Gerrard who decided but the manager after talking to the medical staff. Stone age people won't understand.
