The beard is part of your face unlike a dress and I don't know what you can hide under your beard while you can hide a lot under dress. Anyway, I don't think you are serious. Would you be comfortable if everybody on your streets and at work wore full face Burkas, i won't, if you don't want to show your face stay indoors, simple.

Johnson's outburst is hardly surprising given the fact that he is now best buddies with that raving, racist lunatic Steve Bannon.

I don’t disagree with you there vish but a public figure like he is should choose his words much more carefully. Having said that, knowing him, they were chosen very carefully for maximum exposure as he is a media whore.

But it seems to have back fired on him. Even calls for him to be kicked out of the Conservative party so he’s hardly getting off Scott free.

Those who don't like Boris Johnson won't like his statements. But they won't like whatever he says. I think it's calculated the vast majority of people problably think he is right. The burka is highly contravershal in most EU countries its banned altogether. Johnson has said he does not want the burka banned but does not agree with it. Is it wrong to say that ? I would say Johnson is far more liberal I would suggest most in Britain would want it banned I certainly would. On security and human rights grounds because I don't believe the Muslim women do it willingly they are intimidated into it. I am only talking full face here I have no issues at all with those that cover the hair only. As for Boris this was no random comment he knows what he is doing
