Doubt it. The lad is soft as f*ck to me. Won't get a sniff. He looks like a handy player but there is just something about him that makes me think he is too soft. He goes from looking good to absolutely useless.

Keita is more a box to box midfielder but yes more defensive than Coutinho. However, I don't think Klopp wants a typical AM to play on the tip of our midfield 3. Coutinho didn't always play there and it was more Can and Henderson and sometimes Lallana there. I would say Keita is less attacking than Coutinho and Lallana but more attacking than Henderson and Can. Unless we sold Lallana, couldn't see us going for another AM after buying Shaqiri. I would also say that we wouldn't have gone for Allison if we had bought Fekir, we would probably have gone for a cheaper option like Butland or may be a Ward swap with Schmichael. I still think we need cover for Firmino unless Sturridge can keep fit for about 20 games

Keita setup the 2 goals yesterday, looked very good, so he's allot more than a DM, out of the players so far, he has impressed me the most, surprised me how slight a build he is, but he get's stuck in, all action MF we have been missing.

I think part of Klopps thinking was he does not want a direct replacement for Coutinho, as we had a tendency to keep giving him the ball when we were struggling, so it all filtered through him, which made defending easier for the opposition, what we have now is a team that can break and attack through various routes/players.

Actually makes a lot of sense. But would've still likes we sign Fekir. Rumors that Chelsea might be interested in him.

I would like us to bring in another CB, we should explore the option for Alderweireld. It would be real coup if we could sneak in and get him under Maureen's nose!

I'd have loved us to sign Fekir or someone similar, however if it was to be a choice between that or signing Alison I'd have chosen Alison, as our keeper situation was a disaster area. Also given our earlier signings the need to sort the keeper situation was much greater than the need to sign an attacking mid, however good he might be. Have to say I feel really relieved that we've signed Alison.

We have the most expensive CB and the only one with Varanne who went to 2 of the biggest cup finals. Now we have the most expensive keeper. If the defence doesn't get sorted out, then the problem is Klopp with his system.

Hmmm, Lovern has improved substantially in recent months, however one feels there might be the odd howler lurking in the shadowlands waiting to pounce in the most damaging and inauspicious moment. I for one would like to have a bit more insurance than we currently have as things stand.

With the high line we play every defender will make mistakes, even VVD did, I think it was in CL, he took too long to pass the ball I'm not sure. Lovren being less good with the ball will make more mistakes though he is physically stronger.

Klopp seems quite consistent, patience and particular with his transfers and it's paying off.

2-3 first teamers a season, maybe a squad player or two. He'll work within a budget and will wait to get No. 1 target.

I expect next summer we'll get Fekir, if he stills him, and a new CB.

All we can ask for is improvement and it seems to be happening each window.
