Wilson has not been signed has he? It is a lot but I'm sorry there is no way there is someone secretly pulling strings, how would they hide it from the intense scrutiny that LFC is under?

Wilson hasn't been signed but the bid was definitely made. Shelvey has been signed. If rafa didn't make these bids then who did? If it was Dalglish then that must be a first, given his role in the club.

I heard Dalglish was involved and I think Rafa prob was aswell, even if he was on his way out he still had a job to do and these two targets would have been watched for a long time, so that would not be too strange.

The problem with the news stats is that every paper not just one is saying the same thing! I can well imagine that they get it individually wrong most of the time. But do you think they have collectively got it wrong? And theres the bookies, those feckers dont lose money and they had roy up there from the beginning.

I would seriously like some-one to come up with a valid argument to blow my theory out the water. But those transfers aside, the evidence stacks up.

When Houllier was fired, Benitez was appointed more or less straight away. This indicates that the club had already approached him. Mourinho has already said that we approached him before GH was sacked. It would seem naive to suggest that we fired Benitez without a replacement already lined up.

A week ago, Hodgson was quoted as saying that we haven't contacted him and was unsure whether there would be time as he was flying out to South Africa on tuesday. He then wants to wait longer because there is a chance of the England job. So when did we speak to him?

And the Daily Mail were reporting a month ago that he'd agreed to become manager of Inter Milan once Mourinho left.

Finally, Al Fayed has been quoted as saying that Hodgson isn't leaving Fulham.

It all stacks up. The only sources we have which tell us that he's coming to us are the newspapers who regularly get it wrong and who don't know what's happening inside the club. Also, i've not seen any newspapers come out with any quotes suggesting that he's the new manager.

Your working on the assumption that Rafa departure was planned, I dont think it was. Even the bookies got that wrong lengthening the odds on him staying and then bam he was gone.

This suggests there was a fundamental fallin out, which is worryin coz it prob involved transfer money.

Hodge has been approached, just because he didnt admit does not mean it aint happened. Of Mr Harrods said that that's he job. A bunch of people have been approached and we wont really know the details until the appointment is made.

I believe that Rafa's departure was planned. The club fired him and that's not a decision to be made lightly or quickly. If the club wanted to keep Benitez, then all they had to do was make good their promise of a £20m transfer budget which Purslow announced this time last season. They didn't. In fact, there was talk that he wouldn't even be able to spend money generated from sales.

Now if the stories be true, doesn't it strike you as strange that the new manager has been promised a £15m kitty plus all monies from sales?

This is where we all get disappointed because i really don't have a clue who it is. It could be a younger manager coming in to work under Kenny or it could be some one currently at the world cup. It could even be both.

The point is that the whole Hodgson saga just doesn't add up, therefore it becomes easier to say who it isn't.
