Because he is a apparently a model pro and a good option for the bench. But being a model pro he has chosen to go somewhere else.

But he is not good enough to rotate with Firmino. I really feel we need to sign a good striker who could also play on the wings if needed, Timo Werner would be great. I know he hasn't scored yet in the WC but he scored a lot for his club and has been playing off his socks for Germany

Timo Werner will cost close to 100mil. Leipzig don't need to sell and he is happy there for another year.

It’s a shame, Origi is exactly the type of player we need (can play wing or striker) but he’s just not at the right level.
