No these are not Liverpool fans just disgraceful excuses for human beings. He screwed up last night but overall we were not good enough as a team, still a thoroughly enjoyable season which a few seem to have forgotten.

Not sure about us not being good enough overall. We were comfortably in the game. We came back after the first error but the 2nd error killed the game.

One off topic comments, is that i was very disappointed in Bobby. He chose the wrong game to go missing. Mane was the only one of the front 3 who actually seemed arsed enough to play.

Losing Salah really affected his game as he lays it off to Salah and plays it through to those areas for him to run into, Mane did well, also, our MF didn't create much, so he was abit lost looking for through balls which never came.

A little question.

Does anyone think that Karius will start in goal for us for the first game next season?

And if he does. Would you be ok with it?

I really don't mind if he starts in goal for us, despite what happened I think he's a good keeper. He's very young and should only get better. He was excellent until the final and that shouldn't be forgotten.


I feel for him and he made the worst mistakes a keeper could ever make.

Say Robertson missed an open goal. From 3 yards. Then gave away a penalty. Then got sent off. Would we all expect him to be replaced??

I chose Robertson for that as he is the same age. Started the season on the bench. Forced his way into the team and played well for the rest of the season. Like Karius.

No problems with Karius starting next season. I’m sure by then he’ll have a much stronger support in front of him.

He's a terrible keep and has been since he came to us. The only reason he was given a sniff in goal after his first errors was because Mignolet was just as bad. And yes, I do expect he'll be in goal next season for us because Klopp bought him and will want to try and improve him. Will I be happy - not in the least because he WILL keep costing us.

Your analogy re: Robertson doesn't work. He played really well, improved and was much better than Moreno. Karius hasn't improved - he has simply benefitted from an improved back 4 and he hasn't kept Mignolet out through is own brilliance.

e.g - Dear Mr Karius, you have proven to be insufficient for our requirements and it would be very much appreciated if you found a club more suited to your level of ability. Lot of love - 'the fans'

He isn't a bad keeper. He has the right attributes physically, and he can make good saves. Mentally something isn't right.

He is not as bad as people make him out to be, yes i am also gutted at the mistakes he made in the final. But looking back, he has made a lot of important saves in very important matches, which could've cost us 4th place and also a place in the CL final.
