Klopp needs to learn that he can only achieve to an extent with improving mediocre players. that includes his Dortmund era.
you can improve and give confidence to such players and will always be punching over the weight. there will be many many finals and nights like these.
players with limited mental, physical and technical ability can only do so much.
and there I was wishing before the game that it might not be a false dawn this time. FFuck mee

Finishing as runners up, whilst representing progress, is never satisfactory for me. There are glaring weaknesses in the side and in the squad that needs to be urgently addressed, Naby and if Fekir is signed that's only a start. We need a top class keeper, centre half, creative mid, and defensive mid and a striker at a minimum. We also need to ship out all those mid table players we hang onto just because they're cheap, but as we saw last night when we need them they're useless.

Even Real have ruthless players to win them games like last night.

As we clearly don't have the same budget as these clubs do, then for sure also we need to start adapting a more ruthless winning mentality?

Klopp is saying he doesn't want cheating players, but where does that leave us? Klopp has now lost his last 6 or 7 finals in a row! Winning mentality or playing nice football on a low budget?

I want us to play entertaining football - and not like for example Josés Manure - but I want to win things too.

Surely we could move a bit towards Real's touch of ugliness without losing our flair?

6 out of 7 seven finals is a very ominous statistic.

Luis Garcia, He drinks sangria
He came from Barca, to bring us Joy
He's five foot seven, he's football heaven
please don't take my Luis away.

thing is. it will aways come back to haunt Klopp whenever next hes in a final. he badly needed a win as much as the club.
I felt this one would be different but who are we kidding

Apparently Joe Gomez is the acceptable standard of quality we need. Rumored to been rewarded for his great season form with a bumper pay rise. yippee

First off, I think Ramos is a disgrace to football. That was a Jujitsu move on Salah plus he elblowed Karius just before their first goal.

That said I think we are quite a weak squad, and I mean weak as in "too nice". We have the best disciplinary record in the prem, which is admirable in some ways, but sometimes you need to get stuck in ... Like against Madrid and that's something we don't have.

For me we need a good, hard midfielder or CD not scared to have a go if required.
