44 goals for Salah this season - that's 13 more than Suarez in 13/14.

If he'd got injured who would have replaced him? Solanke? Ings? Change of formation?

Without Salah I think we would be scrapping it out with Arsenal to finish ahead of Burnley. We would most certainly have been knocked out by Man City in CL.

Salah has turned a disappointing season into an OK one. You have to think Salah, and Mane and Firmino, are going to have to be on their game to have any chance on Saturday.

You can say the same about a lot of teams. Utd without De Gea would be no where near second. Spurs without Kane would be no where near third.

We all know we have a very thin squad and we did take a risk by not replacing Coutinho.

De Gea yes but Spurs wouldn't have been very far as they played well winning games with Kane injured.

Not so sure really. He still got 30 of their 74 goals and played more minutes than Salah too (3083 Vs 2921). Salah did get 10 assists though against Kanes 2 so in total had a hand in 10 more goals than Kane.

The point is though that most teams have one outstanding player. Real, Barca, Bayern (to a lesser extent) all do as did we and Spurs, Utd. It's only really City that didn't suffer through injuries this season and so they shouldn't after what they can and have spent.

Mid table, scrapping it for a Europa league place as has already been suggested.
No doubt at all in my mind.

Another mainly 1 man team season (in the main) the same as when our Luis was here

It's the same every year.

Where would we be without (insert name here)
Fowler. Owen. Gerrard. Torres. Suarez. Salah.

If he didn't score someone else would have.

Oh I dunno? Maybe Bobby or Mané would have scored more?
Maybe Origi wouldn’t have gone on loan and started banging them in?
Lots of IFs in this world.
Why such a question days before our CL final?

Because Klopp is on the cusp of doing something that his beloved Rodgers never could and probably never will do.
