I've moaned about Henderson and to some extent Milner too. Ive said that they're the.most uninspiring midfield to have ever played.

However they work so damn hard. Henderson was moaning at Karius after the whistle telling him he should have saved the penalty.

Even tho we went through he was there wanting more. I liked that.

Milner and Henderson have been brilliant recently. Milner has been doing it all season and Henderson since he came back from injury.

Hopefully they peak at the right time.

Only saw highlights but looks like most of the markings are correct. TAA was poor. He needs to know when to put it into row Z and when he can take a cheap booking for the team. I think it speaks volumes for our other full back Robertson who does not get attacked so much because teams are working out that they don't get much change out of him. He is solid.

TAA is an excellent player for his age. He is still on a very sharp learning curve. So perhaps sometimes, especially in two legged games, we need to build up a lead to compensate for errors that may be made by him or Lovren or Klaven.

The final will be a one-off. If he makes a couple of errors that lead to goals then he might get the hook but if RM are simply going to try and move the ball around to get it onto that wing they face giving cheap balls away in the middle. If you look at Porto away, both City games, the first leg v Roma and the first goal in Rome you will see the answer. Nobody stops our front 3 when we execute to a plan.

Kiev is going to be a shootout. TAA is going to be a young gun. Bring it on!

If Clyne gets match fit I would prefer him

He was probably having a go at Karius for not dealing with the situation and leaving it to Klavan.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

TAA has had some good games and some howlers as is usually the case with players his age. He had a bad game last night and I think the occasion had a lot to do with it and that is understandable. However the final is likely to be just as big an occasion, so I'd be inclined to consider Clyne as he's a more experienced defender if considerably weaker going forward. I think against Madrid a more solid defensive setup is preferable, given their attacking players. Lovern reverted to his nervous worst again last night but we have little option but to play him in the final, as Matip isn't aggressive or active enough against Real's attack IMO. I can't see us outplaying them defensively, so it's out score them or be beaten I fear. We have to use this summer's window to once and for all sort out this defence, a goal keeper and a Center half is a must if we want to challenge.

He says to him. ' I told you to stnad still. Stay in the middle'.

Then he goes and celebrates. But Karius looks bemused. Quite funny. I liked hendo for that

Tbf to Karius even though i don't wanna be, it's hard as a keeper just to stand there, look a right nob if it don't work out.

TAA wasn't getting much cover either, Salah wasn't tracking back much or closing down, he looked fatigued to me, so that left TAA exposed.

At half time I wanted us to bring Clyne on at RB and push TAA into MF, to solidify defence and MF as Roma were going for it, you could see what was coming.

I thought Klopp was very slow at reacting last night and was poor with his substitutes, letting the game slip, another 5 minutes we might have lost that game, bringing Klavan on and going 3 at the back is the kiss of death for us !!!
