Other people from outside Liverpool may not have him as their best player (which is fine, it's an opinion) they may choose someone completely different. Suarez Alonso Patrik Berger. It doesn't matter. But welshy won't ever like Gerrard, maybe because of how highly regarded he is. whereas a lad who only wanted to do what Gerrard has done for Liverpool idolises him.
There is a reason he will go down as our best player despite not winning as much. He was ours. He was born here. He said it himself that a league title anywhere else would have meant nothing.
