But I think you wanted their batteries recharged over 4 days, no? If they cannot recharge their batteries over a week then they need a long break.

Klopp has said in the past that he's had to change his training slightly to cope with the rigors of the EPL along with just doing recovery training in busy periods. I don't think it will be an issue personally.

The atmosphere should be great at Anield, the fans know the team need their support, so I think we will raise the atmosphere.

This is a big test of Klopp, he will have to adjust his training methods approach to ensure the plays are as fit as they can be for the game.

It's hard to read how Brighton will play, they have nothing to play for, so at least they shouldn't dig in for a draw, like they would if they needed one point to stay in PL.

They may have the shackles off and have a go, which would probably suit us, they may give a run out to a few fringe players to give them game time and prepare for next season.

We had the same scenario last year and beat West Ham away, so the players have dealt with this before, the players will also be highly motivated as they all want CL football again next season.

I'd rather go out trying than with a whimper of a second string team playing.

Like Vish said, no one got injured and they've now plenty of time to rest for next weekend.

Yes agreed. Since we didn't get any more players injured I think it was the right call.

Remember BR's antics playing with a much weakened team away against Real a few years back? That was painful to watch. No more of that please!

Have faith.

Even if we loose at home to Brighton, Chelsea still have to get a win and a draw from Huddersfield and Newcastle.

Yeah I'd rather be in our position than anyone else's.

Spurs have to win two games.
Chelsea have to win two games.

We have to win one. Same situation as last year against Boro.

I'm not saying all is lost, far from it I think we should be able to beat Brighton at home, even if we're not at our best and fully rested. I expect we'll win if we focus and play our own game against them, but we dare'nt underestimate them, given how they won against United and Spurs. I still contend that players particularly younger players need more than a week to fully recover from burnout at the end of a very competitive season, even if Klopp adjusts his training sessions. Anyway I hope he can lift them sufficiently for this final push on Sunday and again on 26th.

Yes let's see some famous Klopp man management and pep talk now.

The players should be rested and motivated for both games. If not, they can f*ck off and leave room for better ones at the end of the season. As if that should happen! laugh
