He's a good squad player, so will be good if he stays, you gotta question his motivation though, is he staying because a RM or Man City never came in for him?

Good if he does stay, in todays market he’s worth about 30-40m, so even if we sell him next season we benefit, and it allows us to focus our budget on other areas. GK, CB and attacker would then be the priorities IMO
