Spirit Of Shankly, the Liverpool Supporters Union, is currently looking at different methods of appropriate action that can be taken, against Tom Hicks, George Gillett, or those involved in the financing of their ownership of Liverpool Football Club.

As part of this, we would like to consult with members, and ask for suggestions for the following:

1. What action, if any, do you feel we should be taking?
2. What do you feel it would achieve?
3. How would you be able to support any action taken?
4. Is there any action that you feel SOS should not take?

Any action would be for the short term (over the summer) or long term (next season).

Spirit Of Shankly is here to respond to members views and take the lead where necessary. This is a Union for all of us, and this is why we are asking for your ideas, to ensure we are acting on your wishes.

Good to see there trying to sort out some of the (vast amount of) stick they've been taking.

I've been unhappy with a lot of what SOS has (and has not) done since joining and from going to the various meetings, but I still feel the match-going fan is a lot better off with them than without them.

Although the divvy who posted the video from the end of season do on youtube has probably set them back loads, SOS have already had to release a statement distancing themselves from it.

In fact, after having a quick look at the early reaction to the vids i'd say SOS is as good as f*cked as an organisation anyway.

All because of some under-20 scalls who can't handle a few lagers.

Bit hard to do anything from the other side of the world. Anything I do would be action against the club rather than the individuals. Happy to help where I can though.
