Also there have been stories in the last three days about him confirming he is coming to Liverpool. Why not post them, give us something to cheer about!
I can't say too much but i have a friend who knows Shelveys dad quite well. He's told me how much we're paying Shelvey and it's shocking. There's international players at established premier league clubs who aren't earning that amount.

I'll admit to not having seen Jovanovic other than the odd occasion and in the World Cup games lately and doesn't strike me as anything special. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt until he's played for us a bit and judge him then, but smells like another Voronin at this moment in time (ageing, eastern European journeyman forward). Let Rafa have him if he wants.
I don't see anything special about Jovanovic but i do know that Standard Liege fans are livid that he's leaving. He was very much viewed as the star of the team and they have some excellent players.

By all accounts he can play and his only 28, he should be in his prime. I don't think he'll be another Voronin, that would be damn hard! I'd rather have him than not have him, he had a good goal scoring and assists record at Standard Liege.

This is apparently what Barca will offer, if they do its a good deal, Bojan is only 19 and is some talent. For this reason I don't see it happening but I'd be happy if it did.
