Agree, whenever he plays a cross field pass it's behind the player never in front of the player which hinders any possible attack from the player receiving the pass.

If he's so average, why does Klopp stick with him? I'm not saying I vehemently disagree with the initial posts but we must be missing something. I saw SG praising him the other day and he's not one to load on the treacle.

I have to say, his first touch looks decidedly uncertain, at times, but (strangely) in the juggle the tennis ball video, on yt he was one of the few who seemed to have the technique required.

Hopefully he's phasing hendo out. He's the only midfielder I know that can't score assit or tackle.

I can't see what the fuss is about. It was a typical display from the team Captain. I thought he excelled in disputing referee and linesman's decisions. Very tenacious there he was.
