Sorry Stan but you aren't going to get your war you big drama queen. I certainly hope not Russia is a big nuclear power and a war with them would undoubtably be the end of all of us but appeasement won't make us safe either. NATO Is doing things about right I feel reasonable deterrence. And thank god we have the British terrorist soldiers on the Eastern European borders that way people can have free speach and freedom and a life no matter how daft they are

Hitler did exactly the same in World War Two in the early stages re the Rhineland and other places. Unlike Britain much of Europe is land taken and retaken over the centuries and disputes and grievances are many. There is a very fair chance Russia will invade or create unrest leading to a posed liberation (exactly as Hitler did in the late 30,s hence why NATO is building up forces in Poland Latvia Estonia etc. The nato troops were already there before the poisoning, so what are you saying Britain should do now, send more troops there, start a war, what do you want, it's not clear to me? As far as deployment goes what we are doing in those countries bordering Russia is the right thing a minimum force to act as deterance. No I don't want more troops there no I don't want to start a war. However I do believe Britain and Europe would be wise to increase defence spending even before the poisoning incident there have been many commentators mentioning our defences are at dangerously low levels. This year the tornado is being retired in time to be replaced by F35 but between the end of this year and whenever the F35 come into service Britain is vulnerable so if it were me I would keep the tornado squadrons going for a few more years. They are still a very capable jet. I hope that was clear for you in summary don't over react but this is a wake up call, So basically, business as usual more or less, this is what I thought. Not much will change after the poisoning

Not much will change after the poisoning course.. how many tweets has the leader of the west blurted out about the chemical attack of a close ally ? putin has the president of the united states in his pocket.

No it isn't you will always need boots on the ground and I don't think the IT systems cost less they run into tens of billions of development and constantly need upgrading. But I am unsure of your point ?

But I am unsure of your point ? I hope you won't need boots on the ground against Russia else it would mean WW3 and with the nuclear arsenal held by Russia you better not imagine the rest. I'll tell you again, I would be very surprised if all this goes beyond the diplomats expulsion and some minor sanctions, though you could do much more by freezing Russian assets in your city. Last but not least, Russia murdered a former spy and I am sure most big countries do it, in fact, the former French President even wrote about ordering the murder of their own nationals (terrorists) in foreign countries. That Russian guy was a British double spy. You'll just need to calm down, but, even if you don't nothing will change.

Poisoning is such a girly tactic to use, surprising that the big bad bears from Russia seemed to have adopted this method of desposal .
That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.
