As daunting as it seems, I believe there is a glimmer of hope.
3 days before the second leg at the Ehihad, Cithe host United in a bid to win the PL title.

0 - 0 draw as both will be happy to tap it about at OT. Anyway if we turn up we can beat City home and away, if we don't turn up any of the others would beat us, so it's down to us to go out and win, else we don't deserve to progress regardless of who we draw. I'm hopeful we'll focus and progress, City aren't unbeatable, good and all as they are on their day, but we can be as good on our day too.

City hot favourites, so pressure is off a little bit. I believe we will be well beaten over the two legs, city squad is phenomenal. So anything is a bonus.

We've played Pep's City 4 times in the past 2 years: 2 wins, a draw, and a loss. I'd say it's 60-40 in their favor, but we have a real chance.

Would have preferred a none English team, but they are beatable, similar to when we played Chelsea, could be high scoring 2 legs, 7-7 over 2 legs, we go through on away goals!

If we can win well at Anfield and not give up too many away goals, we can really put them in an awkward place for the second leg. Nervous, but excited. After years in the wilderness, it's nice to have big fixtures like this to look forward to!

Don't think many pundits will give us a chance over 2 legs, but they're judging it on a false 5 v 0 at Citeh, if Mane hadn't be over zealously sent off and got a rightful yellow instead that game would have been very different. Here's hoping we can wrap our front 3, VVD and Karius in cotton wool until then.
It should be a really entertaining 2 leg tie, probably tie of the tournament so far with 2 teams not afraid to express themselves. Is it fortunate that Spain's 3 teams avoid each other or was there some jiggery pokery going on by UEFA?
