Liverpool FC chief confirms plans to spend big on signings this summer
Liverpool FC will continue to spend big in the coming transfer windows, says chief Andy Hughes
Liverpool FC are ready to keep spending big in the forthcoming transfer windows to strengthen their squad, according to chief operating officer Andy Hughes.
The Reds have been in good form this season under Jurgen Klopp and they have not been afraid to splash the cash in recent transfer windows.
Liverpool FC spent big on bringing Mohamed Salah and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Anfield last summer, and they also broke their transfer record to sign defender Virgil van Dijk from Southampton back in January.
The Reds brought in around £140m from the sale of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona in the January transfer window, and the Merseyside outfit are likely to be linked with a host of other players in the coming weeks and months ahead of the summer.
And after Liverpool FC announced a post-tax profit of £39m for the financial year ending 31 May 2017, Reds chief Hughes confirmed their plans to continue to reinvest in their squad.
We did this rodeo last season... yeah, right Jurgen and JWH will see us straight when they get new glasses!
This lot are Indian givers! We get agreements for players for 2 + transfer windows down the line...not for the now, but ALWAYS "mañana, mañana"!
I check the calendar several times over, when they try and tell us the day of the week!
