I'd like to see Liverpool win it myself ;-)

I get the feeling Madrid will crash out in Paris.

yes Chelsea have the toughest ask but if they hit form they are more than capable of knocking Barca out...They do have the best player in the Premier League in Hazzard playing for them....City are best equipped tho especialy if PSG go out...

Hazard is brilliant on his day, but he goes missing too often and offers nothing to the team defensively. Def not best in the league.

De Bruyne, Salah, Aguero, Kane, and Sanchez are all better.

Even sterling has been better than him this season.
yes you make a good argument for the players you mentioned however Hazzard is the stand out player in this League...for me he is the closest player we have of being the best in the world...btw I think DeBruyne is fantastic him or Harry gonna be the player of the year as they are head and shoulders above everybody else...

"Yes you make a good argument." Then you just restated your claim without additional reason or evidence.

De Bruyne is a better passer. Salah is as good or better a dribbler, and he scores more goals. Sanchez is more complete. Even Sterling had more end product. Even last year when he won the league, Sanchez outproduced him.

Well Salah is only a goal or 2 behind Kane so if he carries on and matches him and scores 40 this season it wouldn't be that much of a shock would it? De Bruyne has been the best player and deserves it but based on the season so far Salah is in the mix.

He is good because he is good. Right. Not a terribly convincing argument.

My argument is that he is inconsistent, often goes missing (sometimes for seasons at a time), doesn't track back, and has a generally petulant attitude. He's a good dribbler and can create something out of nothing, but he hasn't delivered goals and assists at a level to be considered the best in the league.

De Bruyne is great in every game with superior vision and passing and Harry Kane and Salah score for fun. Salah is as good a dribbler and more of a goal threat. De Bruyne is a better passer and just as skillful. Everything he can do, one of these players can match and add something they do better. You're the only one not a chelsea fan I've met who thinks he's the best.

have to disagree with you there...Hazzard for me hardly drops below an eight everygame...even if he has a below average game by his high standards he still eiither scores or created something. I am not saying he has had his best season as I think he has suffered due to Conte's chopping changing and at times baffling team selections like tonite where he played Hazzard and Willian both up front.
Harry Kane has just got better and better over last three seasons makes you wonder where he would be without the grassroots game where he learnt his trade, he's the golden boy of English Football after taking over Wayne Rooney's mantle.
I think DeBruyne will probably edge Harry myself he's been fantastic...does help when you play in a city team with so many options and movement tho but he still has to see and execute the pass. Salah has had a fantastic season, nobody expected it not the fans or players marking him, he has used the element of surprise to his own advantage perfectly., he won't for me get the top prize although he's a cert for the team of year and he fully deserves that accolade... fingers crossed he Doesn't have second season syndrome like Mane...

If Salah suffers from second season syndrome like Mane then he'll not play as well but match his goal tally from this season (actually Mane is 1 short at the min). Another 30+ goals then.....i'd be happy with that next season.

He is a fan but a Bluenose, so he'll need to take off his hat anyway, in fact, he cannot even wear a hat in front of a true LFC fan.

Ah please there is blind hope and then there is desperation but this is neither....there is no comparison whatsoever between us and Brighton who must have been over 2,000 to 1 at beginning of EPL season and who of course hold no mathematical chance of winning it now and Liverpool who were what 20's or so to win Champions League at the start of the competition and who are 9's now with 1 foot in the quarters.
Of course one looks at the normal order of things and sees the likes of Real, etc as likely winners however in terms of a squeak of a chance of winning it yes I think we certainly have that.
Yes they are stronger clubs and teams and have been riding the upper echelons of European football for some time now whilst we have been wallowing in relative obscurity(success wise obviously lol) but we have the artillery to beat them with a few strong defensive displays a must(this is where I am hopeful) and yes my head says no and heart yes but let's try to enjoy it,if we box above our weight in the the next couple of months fantastic and if we don't then we don't.
Let me re-iterate ENJOY THE [oops] RIDE
