I disagree...I think all the big hitters would rather face us that each other, I would go as far as to say Real Madrid and Barca etc would pick us to play before any of the remaining British teams... Yes we can score goals but what's to stop one of this bigger clubs just putting an extra man in defence or man to man on Salah...you stop him and Firminho passing to him then we don't score simple as unless you want to rely on Winijdum or Henderson to net...don't forget we are awful at the back so anybody with a half decent attack is guaranteed to score, the worst team in our league should of scored eight against us recently...West Brom..just an alternative view to the knee jerk reactions on here and a bit of perspective... Check out any other fan forums or speak to other fans. None of them want us, especially united. They are all hoping we draw city so one of us knock each other out.
So just take your Liverpool glasses off for a sec and ask yourself this...if you were picking a team to play against who would you pick given we are good going forward and dreadful at the back...we are one dimensional and can only play one way ball up to Salah which makes us one of the most predictable teams left in the competition and we have no plan B if plan A isn't working...these are all footballing facts about us...
I am talking about what I saw, and no one wants us on other forums. Check or redcafe and the other united forums if you don't believe me. We are the top scoring side in the tournament, and Klopp has a reputation for dismantling teams. We're not perfect, but we're a good team. Real Madrid have had a shaky season with Ronaldo slowing down, Benzema being out of sorts, Bale always injured, and their backline can be got at. United look generally sh*te right now. PSG have no backbone and never get tested in their league. Spurs have shown Juve can be got at and look likely to go out. We've beaten Spurs before, and we emberassed Bayern in pre-season this year. We beat City a few weeks ago. The teams no one wants are Barca, ourselves, and City. If I were those other teams, I would rather have real, PSG, Juve, or United over LFC. Easily.

the worst team in our league should of scored eight against us recently...West Brom.. Time for me to own you once again. WBA had a total of 8 shots against us in the FA Cup game, 3 were on target, 3 were off target and two were blocked. They scored 3 goals, one of which was an own goal from Matip. Basically you are saying every shot they had should have gone in? To use the same logic, we had 23 shots, 8 on target, 6 off target and 9 blocked, we also missed a penalty. So, according to your logic, the final score should have been Liverpool 23 West Brom 8? The above stats are facts of the game. Feel free to pinpoint each chance that should have led to 5 more WBA goals, you won't because you can't. Muppet! But you could have a great chance to score without actually shooting? Having watched the full match vs. West Brom I can tell you we were very poor and deserved to lose. May be this wasn't obvious to you having only viewed some match statistics on an internet page. The way we were defending, we could have conceded much more than the 3, may be not 8, but it is hard to defend how bad we were at defending in that game.

It was a poor game, but we've only lost like 4 all year. That's pretty decent. Compare that to Brendan's last season.

He didn't say we deserved to win or played well. He was responding to the suggestion West Brom should've scored 8 goals. Seemed to get his point across pretty well..

People slam knee jerk reactions when we dismantle Porto yet constantly refer back to one of a few defeats this season. The league will tell us where we are after 38 games and at the moment we're 3rd, 2 points behind big spending United and ahead of Chelsea. We're also in the CL Quarters for the first time in god knows.
Klopp's doing well. Compare our budget to most remaining teams and it's fair to say people are taking note of Lfc and Klopp.
I doubt people fear us alongside the likes of City/Barca, but we've got momentum and belief at the moment.

Where did I say we didn't deserve to lose? We were awful and suffered a deserved defeat. Should we have conceded 8 goals? No, not even close. Well done for watching the match on your TV, I follow LFC all over the country so bear this in mind when you try and own me, which you aren't intelligent enough to do.

Haven't got a problem with the statement itself just the repeating of it in every bloody thread. Fair enough. But the problem is repeating in every bloody thread. Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny, consume you it will. I’m not doing the quote thing just ignoring him. Trouble is I think he’d actually like just talking to himself. He’ll over step the mark soon enough and the futile ban will come. Really? You think...now? MAN UP man. that ain't gonna happen now sadly

I doubt people fear us alongside the likes of City/Barca, but we've got momentum and belief at the moment. can I ask you how does the League tell us truly how good we are ? The point I am making is this....we are third like you say only a couple of points of second or whatever but just say for instance it stays like that after 38 games....how is it a fair reflection when Spurs, United, Chelsea, United and Arsenal have fought all season on four fronts League Cup, F.A Cup, Europa League and Champions League right up until probably April or May when our season ended in January realistically and we haven't had to worry about extra games in domestic cups for example...how on earth can you judge us against other clubs who compete in everything...hardly a true reflection is it... I'd take that reply more seriously if you haven't constantly and consistently in the past declared our position in the league as a reflection of how good we are. I don't suppose it would help if I mentioned we also entered into 4 competitions this year...

I don't suppose it would help if I mentioned we also entered into 4 competitions this year... yes your quite right we did enter four competitions but the question is did we compete in them like the big clubs....think about what I am saying...it's not a true reflection unless you judge everyone the same, we go out of the domestic cups early while big clubs stay in...this is a clear advantage to us...we have more rest and longer to prepare for league games which in turn helps us....the season we finished second under Rodgers was the same with no Europe and Leicester City won the League with no Europe and going out the cups early....facts.. This is probably why we didn't do too well in the league when KD took us to 2 cup finals winning one then? Think about this.

I'm not sure if playing an extra 3-4 games consitutues a decisive advantage... no reply on the league position either... facts.
Just my opinion though..
