wanny quick question, I have read several threads with your input in them and out of the 31 posts you have been arguing for 28 of them, not trying to win a popularity contest are you? Seriously mate you need to have some fun, none of us can control what's going on at the moment but it's no point directing your anger at these guys. You are entitled to disagree but how about with less rage.

But on the thread's matter.

Rafa gave us the most points we ever got in the prem.
Made us a force in Europe again, getting to two finals in 6 years, how many has Wenger got Arsenal there in all the time he has been there.

You are right he won us the CL with mostly Houllier's team which consisited of Traore,Dudek,Kewell,Baros,Smicer (not actually classed as great footballers).

Turned Igor Biscan into a good player (see miracles do happen)

FA cup
Community Shield
Super Cup.

Bruce makes some good comments i think the old mentaliity needs to brought back into the club, Kenny should be the man appointed but blaming soley Rafa on it all is way off the mark.

Thats definately not always the case, usually just the original signing on bonus is the case if the club is pushing the player out.

Alonso/Arbeloa would have had their contracts paid up

If a player gets £2m signing on fee to be spread over 4 years and we decide to sell them after two, then they can quite rightly claim that they are owed the remaining £1m and it is that what gets paid

I'm not Rafa's biggest fan but what you said is incorrect

Utterr nonsense from a man prepared to take cash to throw a liverpool game. Fucck him Rafa's legacy speaks for itself, fed up of listing his achievements at the club, a red through and through. Some poeple on here should get some respect for the European champions' manager

was great at setting up against other teams

Agreed, and it seems to be the trend nowerdays unfortunately. Mourinho does it and it is rife in this world cup so far, managers nulifying other teams instead of getting their own to play the game

Actually mate, it's entirely correct and i can speak from experience on this one. The only exceptions on this are where a player puts in a written transfer request or where the contract is pre agreed, though the latter is particularly rare.

When a member of staff (player or manager) is forced to leave by the club, the club are in breach of contract. A recent example of this would be Benitez himself leaving, a compensation amount needed to be agreed on the remaining 4 years of his contract. However, had Benitez wanted to, he could have demanded the £16 million he was entitled to and sat on his backside for the next 4 years, picking up his salary every month.

I'll take your word for it then mate.

I was using an example of a mate of mine who is an ex-pro (not top flight) and he said it how i explained which is not too dis-similar to be fair

If the club force you out then to can negotiate a settlement but the 'norm' was that you received the rest of your signing on fee owed to you

I f you ask for a move then you aren't entitled to anything

I'll stand corrected smile
