I'm starting to think that you have a problem with VD.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Didn't we pay 20m for him when that kind of money was a lot for a CB?

Just watched Dermot Gallagher again and he explains why both were good decisions, hard to take but it is what it is. That said, we were completely dominated, this is why they created those chances and the defenders are not the cause, I agree. We were under pressure for the whole of the 2nd half, nothing like the City game. Spurs deserved a point.

Am I the only one seeing it as verbal diarrhoea?

No. We all do but the one that counts unfortunately.

I thought overall our defence looked quite good, Karius had his best game, some saves, dominated his box on crosses and a few one on ones, I wonder if he could have caught the cross rather than pushing it out, just his luck to get a worldy against him.

Lovren & VvD looked a decent partnership, they were talking allot and seemed to be working ss a pair covering each and not being dragged apart, which Lovren & Matip never looked like doing, VvD was winning everything in the air, they were let down by a mis-kick from Lovren, unfortunately it's something he does regularly, VvD tried to not kick Lamela, but Lamela made sure he did, so was unlucky, but was a pen, but if it is by the letter of the law, any contact in the box should be a penalty, so that's allot of penalties that will be given....

Our MF just didn't provide the cover for our defense in the second half, they used allot of energy in the first half, Tottenham played well second half and dominated the ball, we need to keep hold of the ball more and control the tempo, the longer it went on we could all see what was happening, it's a worry as that is how Klopp wants us to play, but unless they are superfit and have plenty of quality on the bench to replace tired legs, we will struggle, but we won't play Tottenham every week.

I agree, Keita is coming in, we need at least another quality CM, ideally with more defensive quality, and we are losing Can, who is probably our best CM, he certainly plays more games than the other CM's, so Klopp must rate him the best.

I thought Henderson played well, but he looked tired when Klopp brought him off, just coming back from injury, if he can stay fit (big if) he can still be part of our team.

We didn't get any 50-50 decision on Sunday and therefore were a bit unlucky, however, I must say that Spurs forced their luck by continuously putting pressure especially in the second half. That said, if there was VAR the 2nd goal would would have stayed, there was an offside position which can really be confirmed with technology, so overall yes, we were unlucky.

We need more class in depth in midfield hendo will get worse and worse as he already has ! Milne a good squad player but not 1st choice imo, can drifts in and out of good games he’s not a kid anymore needs to improve his consistency
Wij is just not up for it , lallana well who knows could revert to his first two seasons or come Good again but is also fragile
Really when you look at that it stands out like dog balls that we need more class mids on top of naby imo

We did win them against the best attacking team of the season, ie, City. I think our changes didn't help, Ox was wasted on the left while his energy should have been used in the centre as against City, Mane was still giving them a hard time. Firmino looked tired though, and it is understandable with the number of runs and defending he does from a strike's position. Kane probably didn't do half of the runs.
