You know why VvD couldn’t volley away the ball on the first attempt at the end? Cos he had Kane in his pocket the whole match.

Another issues for the last penalty decision.
The ref clearly waved away the complaints of Spurs players for a penalty. Then, we were on our counter attack and the ref just stopped the play. He havent made up his mind for his decision yet and it appeared that he went and discussed with the lineman before reaching his final decision.
My question is, is this allowed in the rule? Can a ref stop an open play to discuss with other officials for the matters? I didnt remember there are a lot of incidents that can be stopped and discussed like that before. And I tried to find it in the rule book and it just clearly said that the ref has power to stop an open play if there was a serious injury and there are outside interference. It seems to me that no rule allow an official to stop an open play in order to clarify his decision.
It would be great if anyone who is more familiar with the rule can explain it thoroughly.

Not unbiased at all. He was congratulated through his ear piece on a fantastic decision, which is what it was, so he had a sly celebration of his own success. Nothing untoward there, made a good call, good on him.
If you want to be bitter, be bitter at the German fraud. Why was it a good call? First pen - offside - Kane jumps over Karius then falls. Second Pen - VvD actually pulls out and the touch is faint. Lemela jumps into him then flops over. Not sure where the 'fantastic' decision comes in. Stop the hyperbole over Klopp. We wouldn't have players like Salah without him. He may be a disappointment but calling him a fraud is libellous. He won the German league with Dortmund and took them to a CL final. Crap managers don't do that. I also thought it was an offside but Paul Gallagher the former refree who explains decisions on tv said it was the right one because Lovren touched the ball, it was considered as he made the pass as Kane was not active before that. Surprising but it is the rule. Paul Gallagher is quite honest on these because when refrees make mistake he says it, I have seen this. For the second one, VVD did kick the player without getting the ball at all, it saw it only on replays to be honest.

Thought Kane was pretty starved of the ball today and or centre half had it pretty easy and were never really stretched especialy first half however the only real time they had to deal with a bit of sustained pressure they buckled... I think VVD is looking more and more like a liability, he has been poor since he arrived and the Penalty he gave away was terrible judgement. I also think Klopp was shown up to be very poor tactical wise as although we were under a bit of pressure before he made the change, we completely folded when we went to a back three...this man is an imposter with more and more people getting wise to him...the Jerry League is completely different to this one and he's struggling big time... Still bitter about the winner he scored against your lot I see don’t worry, I’m sure Mangala will improve your defense, you only conceded 5 on his debut

So if there are something the ref wants to discuss with the linesman, then he can stop the game and discuss?

What's difficult to understand, you are the only one seeing something there.

Ball was too far to be kicked and Lamella was clever, VVD didn't get the ball but got Lamella.
