We've drawn and lost similar games with Coutinho. This has nothing to do with selling him and more to do with how it's very hard to play against teams who don't want to play. All top clubs have suffered at the hands of this tactic.

We seem to suffer more than others though. Last season we have the highest number of points for matches played within the top 6 clubs. As we were only 4th, we lost more points to the weaker teams. It is a bit better this year but we have lost a number of points against Swansea, WBA, Newcastle, Watford, teams fighting in the relegation zone.

We think we do but Utd have drawn with Stoke, Burnley, Southampton and lost at home to Huddersfield. Chelsea have lost to Palace, West Ham and Burnley. Even City have drawn with Palace and Everton.

When a team is determined, well organized and only wants to defend, it's very difficult to play against whoever they are.

Yes it is diffocult but we are the worst having lost against the last team and drawn at home against the 2nd last.

Good logic there! I suppose we're the best of the top teams too as we've beaten the leaders and drew with second place?

The reality is that, this season, we're no worser than any of the others around us apart from City.

No we were well beaten by the top team and only just won it at home. We are 4th so worse than City, United and Chelsea. If we continue to lose/draw to those much weaker teams we will end up worse than Spurs. You seem to be ok with that loss, is that so? What is your target for us this season?

I’m far from ok with the loss but to say we’re much worse than the others is just wrong. And you seem to be forgetting that it’s just our third loss of the season and our only loss to a lower team. It’s called perspective vish which is something not many on here seem to have.

It's not only about losing, but that we are unable to score against such a weak team, was the same against WBA a few weeks back. The perspective is that we haven't been able to solve our last year's problems, we have kept on conceding a lot and struggling to score against the defensive teams

Yet we’re doing better against those same teams so how does that work? You seem to have lost perspective because of one result.
