Would've preferred he gone to City, but this is a very good signing for Manure.
World Class player for a small sum. Hopefully the mooted £500k a week will cause unrest but they can afford these kinds of wages. Suprised to see City refuse it but a smart play really and an impressive decision by Pep if it was his.
Maybe shows the short-term thinking of Mourinho, since he won't be around to deal with any blowback but I suppose this is what we're up against to compete at the top. City and Chelsea (originally) had money thrown at the team and written off, but Manure actually work within their means, they just make a stupid amount of profit.
Hopefully Mourinho ruins another flair player but I fear it'll be another Van Persie..
Nice to see Arsenal weaken but Wenger was doing that for us all on his own. Gunners fans probably can't believe how far they've fallen. Ozil next too..

They're swapping Sanchez for Mhiki and Aubameyang. Not a bad deal.

I think Arsenal win. £35m for Sanchez + Mkh, who only flopping at United because Mourinho is playing him out of position. I dont think Mourinho likes him very much.

Not going to pretend he isn’t a world class player, but at 29 he’s arguably passed his peak, and the amount they’re supposedly paying him, how long will it be before Pogba demands the same pay? Any new players joining will be using those wages as a marker for their own wage demands.
It will strengthen them for a year or two, but after that it could cause more problems than it’s worth, especially if it hinders the development of Martial and rashford

Sanchez is a very good player for a year or 2, but in 3 years they are stuck with a player at 32 on £400K a week who won't be that same player, he's all action/closing down etc striker, those type of players can quickly go over a cliff and lose it at the top level.
Also, I think this will have a negative impact on their current forwards, Lukaku is a big confidence player, Sanchez will be Moutinho's number 1 and the fans will take to him compared to Lukaku's moping about and not putting the effort in, same with Rashford who I think is there best attacker, he will lose game time now, Martial the same, who has the potential to be the best of all of them.
It's typical Moureen thinking about the next year while he's at UTD, rather than thinking about the long term future and building a team, that's the difference between him & Klopp. Also shows why Sanchez is moving to Utd, where he will get more Money, but not win the trophies he would with Man City, strange move for Sanchez when he can wait 6 months and do as he likes?

On a free transfer he's amazing. After 35mil he's a great signing. Straight swap for Mhki still great.
But a 3 or 4 year contract on 400k per week. It's not great business but he will be great for 2 years and they still won't win the league.

Very good business and if I am not mistaken, wasn't Rooney on that kind of wages? Looks to me Mourinho's target is CL.
