He will probably become available and I hope we sign him. I doubt it though, one because of his age/fee relationship and 2, Klopp doesn't seem to want him. I think it would be great if we could get him and let Sturridge go.

I suppose if there is one person who knows him well it will be Klopp. However, there are not a lot of good strikers available.

They were willing to let him leave over the Summer but no one came in for him. There's a reason for that and Klopp knows.

I imagine that one reason why we won't go for him is the Africa Cup of Nations. When that next comes around next we'd be losing Matip, Mane, Keita, Salah and Aubameyang. That leaves a huge hole in the team.
