never a chance in a million years, your talking about buying a commodity which now deals in multi multi blue chip companies, gone are the days when your local businessman done good bought the club like David Moores, David Murray at Rangers and Steve Morgan at Wolves the goals posts have moved up to a whole new level of money now am afraid.

morgan would have been a better bet than the 2 clowns who own the club now - but moores was too greedy to sell to someone who loved the club when somebody else was waving dollars in front of his fat face

I know am just sayin those days are well gone where rich supporters could either buy or seriously invest in the club

ShareLiverpool FC are now over halfway towards acquiring the support needed to make a bid for the club and being in a position to immediately wipe £100 million off the debt.

I've already signed up and pledged £500 to the cause. I believe that this club is for the fans and i would much rather see it in the hands of people who care about it than see it in the hands of a supposed benefactor.

It seems everyone is crying for the yanks to leave but who's to say that it won't be bought by some one even worse.

I dont think you can get much worse... Injected hardly any money into the club, Given the club over £300million debt, Wont listen to the fans and now attempting to pay off theirs debts by selling our best players... Things can only get better in my opinion!

Things can get a lot worse.

The yanks (or a new owner) could sell off all the players, sell off the ground, melwood, etc, pocket the money and let the club turn to dust.

The bottom line is that the debt is with Kop Holdings Ltd, which means that the yanks have no liability for the debt. They can rape the club, make a small fortune and not have to pay a single penny back. A new owner could do just that.
