i think he can attract good players to anfield and hopefully he can use his connections to sign some players from the very exciting chile team (alexis sanchez!)

I also wonder if a certain Liverpool goalkeeper who played under him for Villareal was asked what he was like to play under wink

Not that I think there is any chance he is going to get the job TBH.

Its only a matter of time before Hodgeson is appointed manager whether we like it or not.

i don't think so tbh. the papers has been talking about roy for weeks saying an approach is imminent still nothing has happened. and why hold talk with pellegrini before roy if roy is the preferred choice?

i also thought roy would get the job a week ago or so but it doesn't make sense to my anymore...

Not my ideal choice, but to be fair he has a better chance of keeping Torres here than Woy.

Plus Pepe really rates him.

From a selling point of view makes more sense having him in charge.

I dont think we even talked to Pellegrini TBH. The supposed quotes all seem to originate from that scummy red top which I wouldnt put any faith in.

And if Kenny was no longer working on the selection of the new manager why would he be the one meeting with him. None of it seems right.

Could be wrong but id expect nothing to come of this whatsoever.

He did a fantastic job at Villareal and should of probably been given more time at Real madrid.

Seems his teams play an attacking style of play! How that will fit into the premier league will be interesting!.

The rumours are false.

I thought as much. None of it made any sense.

Our next manager will be Roy regardless of how long it is taking. Still it doesn't stop wishful thinking but unfortunately that's all it is wishful thinking....

Also.

http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Liv...icle474687.html

However, MirrorFootball understands that Liverpool insiders hope Hodgson can be appointed at Anfield as early as Thursday or Friday of next week.

Manuel Pellegrini's agent denied his client had met with Dalglish at Heathrow airport, but the 56 year-old was in England yesterday and is believed not just to have linked up with Liverpool's king-maker, but also to have expressed an interest in the job.

The Chilean was replaced by Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid last month after failing to secure major domestic or Euorpean honours in his first - and only - season in charge at the Bernabeu.

Would've preferred him to Roy, but at the moment, with the way things are going with our club we can't aim very high can we?
