Although Coutinho was an splendid player, we were not as reliant on him as we were with Suarez.
Since the awful transfer window when we signed Balotelli, our recruitment has improved. This season's signings are too early to judge, but Salah and Robertson look to have been positive signings. I am very hopeful for Vvd and Keita as well. And I genuinely believe FSG have shown they will learn from bad moments and the people around them, including the recruitment team, seem to be getting so much better. I think this is fantastic.
And of course, with a top manager in Jurgen Klopp, probably the joint best manager in the league, I think we are transitioning into one of the top teams in the Premier League.
I believe the sale of Coutinho could be a turning point for us, as I think we are in such a good position to respond with a top top manager, improving owners and some good signings over the last couple of years.

After the lucrative sales of Suarez and Coutinho, FSG must now be scouring South America for their next BIG PAYDAY!

It's a good point, IF Klopp's given financial support and the players he wants, we unfortunately need to sell to really invest in the squad and if we get VvD and anyone of the linked AM/Strikers, I'd be reasonably happy.
If we got VvD and Olak... (we won't).. it would be an upgrade for sure.

Of course it is a turning point. Any hopes we had of winning anything this season have just turned to sh!t.
Tinio wasn't the team but he was difference between us maybe winning something or not.

Didn't have to read beyond the very first sentence to create a warm glowy feeling within my exceedingly fat and wobbly frame. All sumed up, tucked up in bed and kissed goodnight for me, in a mere 18 words. Have a golden coconut on the house.

And lets not look at Suarez in glowing red tinted glasses. The rat has been tapping up Coutinho since he left, we should have banned him from Anfield.
Can anyone say Suarez did not engineer a cut price transfer to Barca for himself with his actions in the world cup?
Suarez and Coutinho will NEVER be Liverpool legends.
Agger, Kuyt have more claim to be legends than those 2.

Agger, Kuyt have more claim to be legends than those 2. Suarez and coutinho will never be legends because they played about 150games and hardly won a trophy. It had nothing to do with them wanting to move to a culture similar to what they're used to.

You don't read the papers then about Suarez many return trips to Anfield and Barca related gifts for Coutinho.
