Not much of a thread but anyways,
the goals from 20 yards just went to spain so that's that fuucked. where's the match winners gonna come from?
Do you think we will be more of a threat now from set pieces with Virgil? Him and Ox could strike up a chemistry, ox can certainly drop a ball in.
Is the defensive focus of teams now going to shift more to salah and diminish his return?. phil's threat certainly freed up some room for him.
Mane... i dont know whats happening there at the moment but its a good time for him to step back up.
If phils exit means we see more of solanke then might be it for me..... and possibly growls.
Luis Garcia, He drinks sangria He came from Barca, to bring us Joy He's five foot seven, he's football heaven please don't take my Luis away.

The year Rushie left I was utterly devastated. (I was young and hadn't discovered alcohol properly) However that summer we bought Digger, Aldo and Quasimodo and they became part of probably one of our greatest ever teams.
Now I'm assuming Klopp and FSG knew this transfer was going to happen and I'm hoping they may have a contingency plan.
Mane, Salah and Van Dyke with Kieta to come have been excellent signings and I'm hoping Klopp will have a few aces up his sleeve that will perhaps ease our loss.
I would be much more worried about losing Klopp than I am about losing Coutinho. He is the real heart of our team.

I just hope he is given the time and the financial support to complete the job. Keep the faith Flames, nothing else for it. It's a disease and we have it for life.

We have had some good signs lately but countinho will be a big loss make no mistake about that it would be good to get Keita in this window his team is out of the champions league then a new gpalkeeeper and a pacy striker to replace sturridge and we might be getting somewhere we are not far away important we get in champions league next year though to strengthen further again then we could be looking at title challenge.

I think you are right Flames. I was thinking the same about Mane but he was unlucky with two offside efforts v Leicester and he got the first v Burnley as well as leading the line that day without the other 3 members of the fab 4 starting.
We need to go from a fab 4 to a fab 8 or something like that. Only way we can carry the likes of Migs and Henderson.
A new leader is going to come out of all of this and I saw the interview the other week with Ox and Coutinho after the Swansea game I think it was and there was a guy who is ready to step up now he has settled in at the club.

Fsg planned this no doubt as they knew Barca would pay more in jan than last summer so they better have an ace up there sleeves Unless you think Klopp is a liar when he said the club tried everything to keep him

So they said no in summer as they new Barca would up the tempo come jan Don’t get me wrong if I were a biz I would do that sell in high times jan is well known for higher prices I believe ? I don't think the plan was to sell now bur in the summer, except that Coutinho forced the issue. He apparently chipped in 13m of his own money.
