Great result today, I thought we'd drop points as Burnley is such a difficult place to go and play. We've proper ground out 6 points in our last two games which is really positive.

Yes Chris, and we're getting a little bit of luck as well, when previously we could buy a bit of luck! So yes very positive all round. Hope it's not too early to say things might just be looking up?

Klavan has scored more goals than Coutinho, Firmino and Salah combined this year! Who would have thought that? laugh

According to the BBC Lovren was man of the match today.

A bit late perhaps?

If VvD arrival gets Lovren to raise his game, that's good, Matip is out injured allot, so we still need him.

I thought lovren was poor again. Was bullied by a much smaller man in Barnes. Having said that lallana was terrible, looked like a frightened little boy throughout, pitiful display.

I've not seen the game so can't really comment on individual performances. One thing that is sticking out is the fact we are grinding out results without Henderson!

I think we should get rid of Henderson at the 1st opportunity, he is injury prone and offers very little when available.

When VVD is acclimatized give him the Captaincy unless we are going to keep hold of Coutinho.

The one notable difference from the last two games is that with dug out wins when we normally would have folded . it was good to see mane get a goal too. What a cracker.

Actually, my MOM for last night was Ox.
He was a few that stands out in the dull first half.
He also set up two goals and had two decent shots and one was very unlucky that being saved.

Absolutely brilliant last night/

Lovern and Klavan were solid last night too, tho.
