Great win today coming for a goal down, hopefully we follow it up with another 3 points against a very difficult to break down Burnley team.
I’m expecting a fair bit of rotation for this. I’d expect something like:
— — — — — — — Karius— — — — — — —
TAA— — —Matip— —Klavan— — — Robertson
— — — Wijnaldum— — Can— — — — —
Ox— — — ——Coutinho— — — —Mane
— — — — — — — Firmino— — — — — —
Not sure what will happen with the goalkeeper, but I’d rather see Karius get a run rather than going back to Migs.
Is Moreno fit yet? If so I think he’ll be in for Robertson.
I also think Salah might get a rest in this one. It’s a big gamble leaving him out, but he’s played a lot of football recently and could probably benefit from a rest. We don’t want him burning out by the end of Jan. Ox has been in good form so hopefully he can come in and cover for him.

Until a player shows signs of fatigue then don't change a thing.
Get the games won then manage the players playing time.

A lot of the time the first sign of fatigue is an injury. Better to try and get them a rest before that happens. We may be too late with Salah as he seems to have picked up a knock in today’s game and looks like he could be out of Burnley anyway. Klopps done a lot of rotation so far (probably too much) but Salah seems to have been immune to it (can’t remember last time he didn’t play?)

I would rather give Ward a game In goal, Karius looked very nervous on crosses, and that's what Burnley will do, allot of crosses and long passes putting the pressure on our defence winning second balls (they can play abit as well). Ward played in the championship last year, so he will be more used to the physical side of the English game.

If Salah doesn't play, Mane has to regain his position on the right with Coutinho on the left, Ox in the middle. Firmino will probably start this one but not the FA cup game
