Diouf was crap. Lovren is crap. I don't like either. I really don't care about their confidence or attitude.

I get the impression from Lovern that he dearly wants to do well and be respected by the club and fans, but I think his nerve fails him under pressure, you can often see how nervous he is coming out. At Southampton he was more confident and their style of play gave their defence more cover so that took a lot of the pressure off him. Our style of play under both Klopp and Rodgers requires a couple of unflappable centre half's. Lovern will never be that type of defender IMO. We need to sign two clones of the great Ron Yeats, he always looked steady as a rock.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say my job is scarier/more dangerous than his and I don't get to go home and cry In my Ferrari.

Agree unlike Diouf he has the right attitude but unfortunately doesn't have the right aptitude

I'm not defending Lovren as a player, he's not good enough and needs replacing, I'm just saying comparing him to Diouf is not fair, as Diouf was a nasty piece of work with his attitude/behaviour.

It's unfair on pretty much every footballer to compare them to Diouf. He was the ultimate cvnt.

I'm not saying Lovren is a bad person. But as a footballer, which is usually how I rate footballers he is as crap as Diouf. Spent a lot of money on a player who couldn't do their primary job.

Diouf couldn't score.
Lovren can't defend.

It's like saying who is the better footballer. Joseba Exteberria or Leo Messi?

It's obviously Exterberria because he played his final season for Bilbao for free just to give back something to club he loved. He is a nice guy.

Can anyone seriously tell me a player who has cost us more points or made as many mistakes or been as awful as Lovren?

Migs looks like another nervous wreck IMO. It's a real bad ass situation this, having a nervous keeper behind a nervous centre back equals recipe for a jittery shittery defence, and when you put this together with a manager who only wants to look at attack it's a behind the sofa experience every time.
