hi dunk, last week you said h&g were locked out of the talks. just curious if you know what happened?

Dunk! you advised that they were not taking part in the talks but you have said that it has now fallen through (your perfered bidder) because of fat boy! How can this be?

They still own the club. They can't interfere with negotiations made by the board but they can still turn down any bids that they so wish.

RBS can claim the club back if they reject perfectly good bids and will if they don't make payments. However, if Hicks sells players to service the debt, RBS will not panic/act.

Thats my e-mail sent off!!!!! So a start, will be visiting the RBS branch in city centre soon, will try and get the local supports club to join in and see what the reaction will be, get the local press involve aswell!!!!!

If they asset strip the club just to service some of the debt, it would surely dramatically reduce the value of the club (they are already asking too much). I know they are greedy and want as much as they can get but i'm sure they're not stupid and asset stripping is in my book stupid if you are trying to sell what you are stripping.

Its like asking £10k for a car thats worth £8k then selling the wheels for £2k and still expecting £8k for it with no wheels. The car will still work but won't go anywhere. Doesn't make sense to me. I don't see how they can't see this? Are they that blinded by greed?
