Rumor is apparently AC Milan are after Daniel Sturridge. No doubt the rumor must have been planted by his manager. If his contract from Milan includes expenses for his entourage of homies and a commitment to clubbin and social media exposure and playing maybe the little bit of football, then I say yippee sign him up! If AC Milan are after him it'll most probably be a loan deal. Personally I don't see the point in loaning out senior players. Get's their pay off the books I guess, Sturridge is on something like £150K a week I guess, so that's allot of money sat on the bench. We did the same with Pepe Reina (should never had gone at the time, still better than our current keepers).

Yes would have Reina back instead of what we have now although Reina was awful just before we sold him, would even Bring back David James now before those goalies we have on the books now and that says it all.
What a terrible manager Klopp is if he rates these two goalkeepers, his judgement is very worrying to say the least.

Yes would have Reina back instead of what we have now although Reina was awful just before we sold him, would even Bring back David James now before those goalies we have on the books now and that says it all.
What a terrible manager Klopp is if he rates these two goalkeepers, his judgement is very worrying to say the least. To be fair to Klopp, Migs came with the job, so not really his choice, Karius was bought as an up and coming keeper who was one of the best young keepers in Germany, for cheap really at about £5million, who could come good as he's very young. There aren't that many top keepera around atm, even less available as they are at top clubs, Pickford cost Everton £25million and is unproven really, The City keeper looks a good buy, allot of money at £35 million, I'd never heard of him.

Dont know about that some as teams adopt that policy nowadays, didn't United win the Europa league last season with a reserve goalkeeper and am sure City beat us the the Carling Cup Final with some goalkeeper called Willie something who is now reserve goalkeeper at Chelsea. Klopp has had ample time to replace Dracula in goal and there is still no sign he will replace him this January transfer window, it's just rank poor management.

The whole defence is a shambles.
We need a new top class:
-keeper
-cb
-lb (if Klopp won't play Robbo)
-dm
On top of that we also need a top class striker. Today we have none. Firmino playing the false N:o 9 role doesn't count imo. We need a real specialst striker.

Only Schmichael would be worth a shout, the rest are as crap. How many has Pickford conceded again and as you say their defence is better than ours?

You quite clearly haven't watched any Premiership football this season if you want some of those goalkeepers. Begovic has been dreadful since moving to Bournemouth, he's been at fault for a number of goals they've conceded, same with Forster at Southampton, he was excellent for a season but for the last 12 months hasn't been the same. Pickford and Hart have been conceding goals for fun for their respective teams.
