Hi, I have heard a rumour which I hope someone can clear up as I cannot locate anything about it... R Brewster has allegedly rejected a new contract..
Is there a stand off does anyone know?

There has been some chatter that he's unsettled, yes. Nothing credible publicly yet though.

It was his dad that brought him here saying he'd have a better chance of playing games. He's still 16/17 so hopefully that is still the case.

Cheers for finding out.. He's a Londoner I think, some lads at Southampton U23's v LFC U23's last season were shouting to him, he appeared to know them as he acknowledged them..
Maybe he's got an agent, or looking at some of the other winners of the golden boot title he just earned, maybe that "entitles" him to a pay rise?
Gotta be a bit careful, although Rogers is not here - remember the Stirling fiasco, claiming him to be the best talent for his age, but not paying him it...
Hope he stay's, think he will - well fingers crossed...

Klopp has one of the best records at bring young players through from the Top 6, so unless he's going to drop down the league, I'm guessing its all negotiation and getting the best he can in contract and game time.
We picked up Solanke in the same way from Chelsea as he wasn't getting games.

He was picked up from Chelsea. His dad is a Chelsea fan I think. But no kid will make it there.
Thinking about it. There aren't many better places for him.

There really aren't. Here he knows he'll get a chance. Solanke is getting minutes, Trent's become a regular,
And players like Ejaria have gotten opportunities last year, Woodburn has gotten opportunities, and even players like Brad Smith before he left. He has a shot here.

It's not just about opportunity. Its about people getting in the head of young players, agents and the press, and a lot of the kids believing they are instant superstars, and expecting cash and car karaoke before they have achieved anything.
Raving on about a talented youngster is a mistake. They need guidance in many ways including hard work ethics, humility, respect and gratitude to the staff and the club and the fans.
