It just stinks of our ever returning and subsequently banned friend that's all.

It has been quiet for the international break though for sure.

Dunk. I am speechless. Basking in the joy of three straight wins. Outstanding run of success. This is the start of a 5 year plan I reckon.

Well I've just read that we've turned down £106m for wee Phil so that should get a few going.

Yes International breaks do play a part in the forum being quiet however I've noticed a lull and lack of activity for last month or so, let's see if it changes and picks up after the International break.

I think the depression goes a little deeper than the international break though. I suspect the sudden jolt of reality in the poor start to the season and our travails at the back, together with the loss of Klopp's halo has left a few posters somewhat traumatised. That does sap ones energy, and it's noticble we can't even get a decent bitching session going let alone a good fight. Let's hope Klopp and the boys can give us a bone to chew on soon.

Don't worry, it'll kick off when we don't win again as it always does. We'll get the usuals crawling out from under their rocks.

I'm feeling pretty confident we'll call down fire and brimstone against the Saints, but the one after that might lift a few rocks right enough. Losing both of them is unthinkable...isn't it?

Am surprised how blase people are about what is brewing up in Spain. It's not turned nasty yet but if things take a turn for the worse the economy will suffer along with the value of footy clubs. And suddenly, without ANYONE being sure of how things will pan out,the prospect of playing in La Liga may conjure up feelings of anxiety and unease, the enthrallment gone. What is odd about the situation is that 'nationalists' around Europe who want the EU to break up will be supporting the separatists, while the fervently pro EU, who generally despise the power of nation states, will be hoping the separatists are curbed And before anyone says this is for the general forum, it very, very much has consequences for footy.

Why would we play in La Liga?

I don't think that's what he is saying. Whatever happens there will certainly affect the landscape of football drastically. One of the biggest leagues in the world, and certainly one fo the biggest clubs.
