If we stay 9th it will mean there are 8 teams better than us, let's say 3 or 4 spent more than us, therefore Klopp cannot do better than their managers, it will mean there are at least 4 better managers than him in the EPL, therefore more worldwide, right? Some say we will not be able to get Simeone, I am not sure why?

Because Simone is coaching happily in Althetico Madrid, also a club with great history. The fans there are happy with his management and he works well with the board too. He was also playing there when he was a player. The club is doing okay and there are no real pressure on his job. The only cons there is that he needs to compete with 2 crazy teams in the same league who will spend a lot money. However, most of their fans accepts that the club to sit below them so there is no problem.

Why do you think he wants to change club?
Yes, we are a club with great history but it means nothing to Simone as Alt Mad is also a club with history too. And I dont think many south american watched EPL and grew up too. Probably Alt Mad is a bigger club in some south american's eye.
In terms of financial status, we seems to be able to spend a lit more than Alt Mad but we have more restrictions for signing players. At least we cant sign cheap South American who may find difficult to gain a work permit. And we have to compete with 3 crazy teams that able to spend for fun. With another 2 teams that build up their squad for years and have stable performance in the league.
Oh! Yes, we have great fans. Our fans want the league so badly so when they said they will give time to managers, it means that a bad start and then you will be asked to leave.

What make you think Simone has a chance to give all that up in Alt Mad and come to EPL to take the risks?

I expect Simone to leave Alt Mad in two conditions:-

1/ A very bad run for Alt Mad and he is being fired.

2/ A club like Citeh/PSG who can offer him serious money and unlimited resources to buy

By the way, I am against your view that the league position of one season can judge a manager. For manager, you need to rate a manager with results with longer time. You also need to consider the resources he get and the way he build the team and how often he can successfully build a competitive squad and also if the style of play fits the club.

Ranieri wont he league with Leicester doesnt make him a better manager than Mourihno and Wenger.

Both Mourinho and Wenger have won the league more than Ranieri.
Klopp at Dortmund had a similar list to Simeone at Atletico so the latter might wish to take a bigger challenge and LFC will be able to pay him more.
It's not only one season but Klopp hasn't been able to sort out the defence for 2 seasons, if he can't this year, I don't think he will be able to.

It's a bit crass to be talking about sacking the manager like this, but not totally unwarranted. Whichever way you look at it, he hasn't been as effective as Rodgers and we seem to be going backwards. (For the stat fans, Rodgers' record in terms of wins, points and goal difference is considerably superior).
New contracts and/or regular game time has been given to very poor players which has contributed to our inability to win a number of games. Very little, if anything, has been done to improve us defensively and our midfield might as well not even be there. And as for our 'captain'.....!!!

The only thing going for us is a decent (not brilliant) attack. But how hard can it be to buy good forwards and tell them to bomb forward at every opportunity, exposing a weak defence to the inevitable??

Klopp needs to improve drastically or I don't think he'll be here next season. Rating so far: D.

I wasn’t going to compare stats like win % between managers but it is interesting you bring these up. The most alarming problem in my opinion is the lack of improvement in our defence as you mention. He hasn’t addressed it and depending on results it is a sackable offence.

Let’s not forget Klopp provided the club, and particularly the fans, with a big lift when he arrived. We’ve had some brilliant results against top teams, came ever so close to winning the Europa League in his debut season. But right now we are limited to a top 4 place because of our deficiencies at the back - and that’s if our attack are firing on full cylinders.

Klopp is a much more distinguished European manager. However, Rodgers probably has done a better job in the league. With Rodgers we saw clear improvement until it tailed off and he ultimately got sacked. I do think think the Premier League has exposed some of Klopp's limitations. We've seen tactically he's not at the same level as Guardiola, Pochetino or Rodgers, but then again he's not a tactician.

Klopp is a fantastic trainer, motivator and man-manager.

How can you dare to put Rodgers in the same league as Guardiola or even Pochetinno? What makes you think Rodgers is a good tactician, he cannot even get draws at home in Europe against better teams? He is still average in my books

Rodgers isn't, hasn't been and will never be a good tactician. Only you would come up with the idea to compare him with the likes of Pochettino and Guardiola.

All Rodgers did was to ask the players to pass the ball around Barcelona style. Booring and not very fruitful.

He also told the likes of Sterling, Sturridge and Suarez to freely bomb forward and score goals, which they did. But that didn't have much to do with fantastic viarious tactics.

Zero trophies won and an embarrasing defence just as we have now.

How's that for a master tactician?
