Yep. They are not going to sack him while we're still in the CL. He'll be given time just as Rafa, Houllier and BR were. End of the season before any decision. From the outside, it looks like Klopp has had the most freedom in the transfer market out of any manager under FSG. Klopp doesn't appear to have done anything to address our biggest weakness - our leaky defence. Every team that comes to Anfield knows they've got as good a chance as anywhere to score and that in itself a big psychological advantage. If we are treating managers equally, I believe he deserves until the end of 2017 and if there's no improvement it is an easy decision in my opinion. We've only conceded 1 at home this season, that's hardly encouraging the opposition.

You can put everything in place for a manager: a long-term contract, freedom in the transfer market, patience from owners and fans. But the manager has got to perform and if he doesn't you want to know why. And it is obvious why he isn't meeting expectation. He has ignored problems them have to gone on for a long time. Klopp has become fixated on this 'gegenpressing' counter-pressing lark. He is now being punished for not getting the basics right in the most competative league in the world.

Still think we should of got Rafa back once Roy was pumped, just wish we had an old fashioned chairman who signed the cheques and stayed away from the coaching side of things. Not sure why we signed the Ox and Robertson only to freeze them out , Rodgers done the same thing with certain players too , like it's a protest against the regime or something, something not right at this club and I'm starting to think FSG are a lot more toxic than they appear to be.

A new manager is going to fix [oops] all. We've been down that road too many times already. This is the guy we wanted in he has pedigree. He is making mistakes but we are better off letting him fix them to see what he can actually do.

You should always give yourself options in case the first one doesn't come off. Utd did with Moratta and that didn't work out too bad. And just because you have a full back option doesn't mean it has to be a low quality one or a 'cheapie prospect'.
His approach is all well and good but it's left us woefully short again and may well cost him his job. I find it very, very, very hard to accept that VvD was the only quality and viable option that could've improved our defence. It's also worrying that we could do with 2 CB's so if he can only identify one at this point in time we'll definately struggle to find any more. we are not at the same level with united or others.would you agree? they can afford cockk ups and go for 2nd,3rd options. if things dont go as planned, get rid.there are many examples. im sure we dont have that kind of risk appetite. we need to make peace with the fact that we are mediocre and shouldnt quote or look at these clubs.

Even your first choices can turn into cock ups and no one can really afford them. But I maintain that you have to have options. Makes zero sense not to and is now costing us more than any cock up wouldve.

Rafa cant work with FSG. FSG probably imposed a lot of restrictions on the manager's duties and Rafa will complain it on the first day of his appointment. I love Rafa but I wont expect/want him back until FSG gone. I want Rafa to work with some good owners (Not Ashley for sure).

We had a bad start but we are still a team that capable of playing football. We had a tough fixtures (play againts 4 of the traditional top 6 side and the overachieving Watford already in our first 9 games) and we will face easier opponents in our later games. For sure, if we remain to be in this position in the end of season and then Klopp is deserved to be criticized. However, it is still early and I hope our team can turn it around. For Rafa, he simply cant work with FSG and FSG wont consider him as a candidate for our job.

If we remain in this position by December, he will need to be sacked let alone end of the season
