I see Brendan Rodgers' love child has returned to Koptalk, convenient timing. Very convenient and he surely wants Brendan back

There is a validity now to question Klopps' competence for the job.
It all boils down to expectations, we as fans want success in the form of silverware. Our Owners however see it differently, they want a profitbale business and whilst the money rolls in Klopp is viewed as a success for them.
Changing our Manager is not really an option at the moment because who out there could do any better under the strict financial constraints?

Let's not get carried away. He's made mistakes but the season is not over yet. Let's see where we finish. Still got the FA Cup and Champions League, the title dream is over.

Yeah there's a validity to question his competence as you say Pickles, I also agree with your reason for not changing managers under current constraints. I'd also add my own theory as a valid reason for not wishing to sack Klopp just now, and that is as I've stated previously, that I think he's engaged in a battle with the owners to change policy, to force them to compete at the top in the transfer market and recruit top class players. That's worth supporting IMO, and I see any heave by fans against Klopp as playing the owners tune and thereby undermining any chance of us signing the quality we need to compete at the top.

I would even do it differently if I could spend that money. 'I don't know exactly how much money we could spend because nobody has told me, 'No, you can't do this.' 'If I spend money, it is because I am trying to build a team, a real team. Barcelona did it. You can win championships, you can win titles, but there is a manner in which you want it.'

I think we did have money to spend, Klopp would just rather wait for his target (rightly or wrongly). He probably sees himself as having time to build something. Rather than worrying if the next season is his last.
I don’t particularly agree that he couldn’t find other options out there, every team will miss out on top targets and it looks a bit ameturish that other cant be identified. But then again, some of the past examples of this have been very poor from previous managers.

'If I spend money, it is because I am trying to build a team, a real team. Barcelona did it. You can win championships, you can win titles, but there is a manner in which you want it.' Yeah I recall reading those comments Barr, and I also recall posting my worries about Klopp's seeming blindness to the competitiveness of the PL as a result. However it appears he's learnt since then by opting for two top prices quality players in VvD and Naby in the recent window, and then refusing to settle for 2nd, 3rd or 4th options. It is that apparent change of tack by Klopp that I'm supporting. I hope he has the courage of his convictions and sticks to his new approach.

You should always give yourself options in case the first one doesn't come off. Utd did with Moratta and that didn't work out too bad. And just because you have a full back option doesn't mean it has to be a low quality one or a 'cheapie prospect'.
His approach is all well and good but it's left us woefully short again and may well cost him his job. I find it very, very, very hard to accept that VvD was the only quality and viable option that could've improved our defence. It's also worrying that we could do with 2 CB's so if he can only identify one at this point in time we'll definately struggle to find any more.
