You'd have been over the moon. Until they brought in a non-English speaking manager.

And how are they going to finance the new stadium which i understood won't have more than 50k seats
well the reports are it's going to be 60k...they have seen how West Ham have filled there's consistently and they feel confident if they get the right ticket price then it's better sense to do it...space won't be a problem and the planning permission side of things is sorted.

The blue sh1te can't even fill Goodison, never mind a brand new spanker 50k stadium. I watched them last week on the telly play that team of brickies from Limisol.... lol .. and we think we have a cr@p defence...
That's another story

yes heard they were as poor as what we were in Russia probably a bit poorer, Goodson is usually full every home game from the reports I have seen...I know we don't sell out or we never last season anyway...

FSG bought us coz we were undervalued in the market at the time, due to the global crash, the banks wanted their money back and the nutty Yanks couldn't pay as their businesses were collapsing, so we were a good buy at the time. FSG are not and never will be football fans, but they could see how badly we were being managed/owned, with their sports business experience and maximising business/marketing opportunities they could see how they could improve us form a business point of view, which they have done pretty well I was surprised there were no more buyers interested in us, but it was just a bad time for finance/investors.

If someone buys us now, it would not be too make money, it would be a vanity buy because they want to own us, Man City will never make enough money to recoup the investment, Man City are a huge advertisement for Abu Dhabi, they are globally knows now and are a show of power and success, it works as most people know more about Abu Dhabi due to Man City, not much else.

They wont fill a 60K stadium unless they sold tickets for free.

re first page of thread You know how hard it is to rip up the floorboards and reform a side? ok I know fergie reinvented his sides several times. It's probably why Arsenal haven't changed their style for years, if arsene tried by now he well may of been a goner. Probably why we have henderson, sturridge and moreno still in the setup

within a season and a half klopp had took big strides in implementing his style to our club, we lead the pl. There isn't as much purpose at the moment as their was last season, but klipperty klopp will keep (trying) to click his fingers for us.
