It appeared that he would've been in the summer but decided that VvD was the only CB in the world that could improve us. And why spend nearly £40m on Ox when we so badly needed a defender?

would have should have could have, but didn't.
could have signed Lemar for big bucks but didnt.the clubs that will be successful are owned by people who want to spend money to gain success.we havent got those kind of owners.we have owners who employed a guy based on him doing well without spending to much.that tells us all we need to know.our owners are tight with the cash and if you dont believe that then you're wrong.

Can't get my head around the Ox bit either, given the needs elsewhere.

Well for me the money was there. it's quite clear to see it was. We didn't need Lamar and should've tried more for Keita for this season much more a player we need.

The money was there for a CB. VvD didn't work out so why not buy another? Why spend £40m on Ox when that could've gone on a CB?

Say what you want about the owners but this is all about Klopp and not buying a decent CB and just going for Jack of all trade attacking mids.

One of the worst signings in recent history. Anyone who has a remote interest in football knew that it was a pointless signing. He did nothing at Arsenal to suggest he has a top level player, and we spent £40million on him to sit him on the bench. The Oxlade-Chamberlain signing completely sums up how clueless LFC are when it comes to transfers.

how anyone can defend the people in charge of this club is beyond me.these clowns have tried to run this club on the cheap ever since they took over.they are in it for the money they are not in it for the good of the club.its about what they can take out of it rather than what they need to put in.they dont give a flying sh!t about the history of LFC or what it means to the fans.they dont give a flying sh!t about winning things.they only care about the team being in a position to keep the tv money and other sponsorship deals flowing in.the owners of city chelski ect dont really care abouth there clubs history but at least they have the balls to stump up the cash for their clubs to be major players in the football world.we dont have that we have clowns sucking the club dry.

Well money was there in the summer. Like it or not it's clear. The fact it was spent badly and not on what we need rests squarely at the feet of Klopp.

I would not rule the ox just yet. He was not a pointless signing, I agree he was not priority but he has made our bench stronger. He hasn't had a chance to showcase his skills with 10 minute cameos. He will need time to adapt to our style but I feel he will offer us a lot as time passes.

Before you resort to the usual response, I'm not defending the owners! However feel free to explain to me how they are responsible for the defensive shambles that Liverpool put on show every week? Do they run the training sessions as well? Do they coach our defenders and the team in general on what to do when defending?

you don't seriously think that defending is our only problem?

This season is no different the the season with Dalglish. We're we just hit the cross bar all the time and couldn't score. Or the season with Rodgers where we couldn't score.

I feel like we only need one thing to go our way and we will kick on.

Wijnaldum scoring and not hitting the post, or Sturridge and Salah scoring that sitter they had.

We need a break.
