Hi All,

Very rarely contribute on here but do enjoy reading from time to time.

Anyway to start off with the actual topic.

I think performances of the last few weeks show how the players are letting him down. I believe that he has coached this team in to being able to win most games and along with not being able to compete with the other big teams for players deserves credit. Yes hands up he makes mistakes, like not bring in any centre backs and for too much rotation, this is obvious too see. But when our players start missing taps ins, making the wrong decisions in front of goal, losing possession needlessly, goalkeeping errors and other individual errors in defence then this is not an issue with the system, the players are letting him down.

Welcome to our friendly Forum mate...you make some valid points, yes the players are to blame it's just that managers always carry the can for bad performances because they identify them and bring them to the club, and supposed to advise them tactically...just the way football works

It's always an interesting one this one as in when is it the players fault and when is it the managers, in the case of the defence it lies firmly at the managers feet for me in that, it's a training issue rather than the personnel, he's had more than long enough to get them organised...could cost him his job in the end...

I think if results turned bad, both managers and players are to be blamed.

However, I dont think our results and performance deserve such a heavy critics at the moment.

Our performance is not bad and we still can play quite decent football. Yes, we have been out in the league cup, which I dont really care, but our league position is not too bad and it is just an early stage of the season. I will wait till the end of the season to conclude if this season is successful or not.

yes have to agree with this...think if your going to play or manage in a country it's your duty to try and incorporate yourself in the ways of that country and mastering the language is a big one. I know a lot of managers insist that players speak in that countries language so that it brings a togetherness and helps team bonding which I think is a good idea...

So one day Messi and Neymar would like to join us for free, we should reject them as they cant speak proper English?

Luckily you were not in charge if not we wont have those Hyppia, Luis Garcia, Alonso, Torres, Suarez and may be end up with finding those Kochesky, Zamora.... etc. Lol

I think we should release Phil and Bobby as well. Their english is bad too. laugh

Why do they have to 'master' the language, when people born in this country don't. You for example have poor English, without the excuse of it not being your first language.

I think you maybe struggle to understand him because you don't have a grasp on the language yourself.

Where do we ship you off to?
