I really feel like we have robbed a great player of a year during his prime, and at Barca too. What the fck are lfc going to do this year? We haven't justified holding him because we haven't bought anyone worth a shiite. Ox looks like his family have been kidnapped (which i retract if true). No confidence, absent minded and no belief.

not a fan of ox but there r glimpses what he could do. hope klopp gets in his head.good physical presence. only if he can stay on his feet n sometimes pass successfully

I don't know if I'm reading this correctly but are you saying that Coutinho had no choice but to sign a new contract? If so that's laughable. He's an adult with a team of advisors, if he wanted to leave he shouldn't have signed a new contract 6 months prior, it's that simple.

The fact is he's under contract with us so we don't need to sell just as Southampton didn't with VVD. You may think we've held him back and wasted a year but that's bollox really when he's our player and under contract for another 5 years. I think it's good that we stuck to our guns (and that south did) as the players have been walking all over their clubs for years.
