Google.

The bitters especially those living in Liverpool follow us more than their own team, I don't blame them
you will find from people who live in the city that Evertoniains are nowhere near as bitter as they used to be towards us, this is mainly due to the Clubs being more closely matched together than they were back in the 70s and 80s.

Without going off topic too much when I used to attend the games it wasn't uncommon to sit down with the bluenose or manc fans after the game and have a beer and chat. Obviously there were isolated idiots trying to stir trouble but I think the hatred notion towards each other was massively exaggerated.

I can handle you coming back as a 70s Italian house DJ, but WTF is all this about? Your actually enjoying something??!!
when it comes to watching the team I have found I am more, calm, relaxed and enjoy it more since I finally accepted we are no longer the Club we used to be and have no chance of ever dining at the top table again. I used to come on and argue and moan about the Club because I still in my heart thought we could do something about it and maybe return to the old days but now know their never coming back and are gone forever unless a Leicester, Istanbul miracle happens. Like I say if we play our strongest teams in the domestic cups we could win one of those but having a manager like Klopp that's sadly not going to happen with his stance and as people have pointed out he's a stubborn man so it won't change while he's here. Domestic success is better than no success at all and at least it will make us happy and give us a memory...top four will never give you that...

Well I'm an old codger, I've seen the bad, the good and the bad again, so having seen us coming back from a far worse position than where we are today, I'm not about to hoist the white flag just yet. We just need to fix a few glaring weaknesses in our squad and we will be challenging. Our glass is half full, we just need to top it up a little, or as I've often said: "put a head on that there's glass bartender" and we're Back!

I can where your coming from with your post however it's a whole different situation we find ourselves in today and one we won't find ourselves coming back from, the emergence of SKY, Chelsea and City plus the fact United timed there success at precisely the right time when the money came in to the game was the final nail in our coffin regarding being one of the top clubs.
I still think we have things going for us in that we can still be competitive in the one-off games with the big boys, hopefully bring in a manager who will win us a domestic cup and for now the customer base has stayed quite loyal considering no real success for over a decade...

The game is played on the pitch, though I agree, the off pitch infrastructure issues have a considerable bearing on one clubs strength relative to it's competitors. However our world wide fan base, which as you say remain faithful, do continue to make a sizeable contribution, therefore it believe a few well chosen and easily attainable tweaks to our existing squad, will bring out the sunshine once again. And significantly the signs are that FSG have seen the light at last and are prepared to sanction the tweaks I'm referring to. So the glass is half full...hey bartender...

If you play 4-3-3 you need strong mobile midfielders who can create and score. All of them are shyte. Defense is even worse made terrible by a goalie shaky confidence.

Sort it out kloop. Or get out

So you think we should change our whole defence, midfield and goalkeeper, that's 8 players, so we'll have to wait at least 2 season but probably 5.
