....what then? We've tried Kenny, Rodgers, Woy, klopp the super coach and it hasn't worked. What will fsg do? I suppose we always have the dream of a billionaire owner....otherwise we will become another Newcastle

Probably Gerrard, but that would be a mistake.
Klopp will be given the rest of the season at least IMO, we are still in the CL and have a good chance to get out of it, FSG aren't really interested in 'how we are playing', bottom line for them is how much money we make, as long as Klopp delivers good profits & CL qualification, they will be happy.
I'd like Klopp to bring Sam in to sort our defence out.

FSG know full well that by appointing Gerrard they will keep fans spending and being engaged for another four or five years because fans always buy in to the old player romantic story, even more so if Gerrard gets his mate Carragher on board to try and sort the defence out...

I think if we don't qualify for CL they will be tempted to sack him. If it is lower than 6th, then I think he would be gone.

I think only a total capitulation will see him leave. He's building something here and the majority of supporters I would say can see this,it may take another two windows to get the obvious problems sorted. Furthermore who else would we bring in. Realistically Klopp is one of the best out there at present.

I think we've got to stick by Klopp and hope he can get the players he's trying to sign in as a first step. Personally I think he is underestimating the deficiencies in our defensive setup. I think he should be looking at a complete rebuild there, imo we need another right full back to support Cline, and we need to sign a top class left full back to support/ take over first choice duties from Robertson, if he fails to step up, in addition and most importantly we need two more top class half backs one to replace Lovern, and then VvD if we can get him. Then he needs a defensive mid to provide cover for that new look defence ( is it believable that he's here two years and still needs to tackle such a fundamental and vital part of squad building?) to be fair to FSG they've shown movement from their failed moneyball policy to support Klopp in the window just shut, if as I hope, it wasn't an elaborate con job! So in short, I'd give Klopp next January and one more summer window to complete his (far too slow) squad. Then he either succeeds or he's gone, no more excuses.

Rafa... with Gerrard as his pupil.

'We should have made a signing or two in the last couple of transfer windows.' Vish
